Background and people behind

Industrial designer, Ph.D. Lone K. Storgaard, founded DESIGN CONCERN in 1992. Besides her work as a designer, Lone has a Ph.D. from the Aarhus School of Architecture, she has lectured at the two architectural colleges of Aarhus and Aalborg and often gives talks at conferences and seminars in Denmark and abroad. Lone participates in several international expert panels, for instance one initiated by the Belgian medical company, UCB Pharma (Universal Design) and another by the aeroplane manufacturer AIRBUS (the Future Seating project). 


Besides Lone, the company is staffed by a cross-disciplinary team of designers, graphic designers, concept developers and project managers supplemented by project employees and freelancers depending on the projects at hand.
